Shear linear stapler with laparoscopic cartridge:
Shear linear stapler with cartridge is widely used in gastrointestinal reconstruction and stump closure or incision in other organ resection surgery. A handle along with a cartridge in size 60-80-100, the linear cutting line places two rows of staples from the main titanium handles and at the same time cuts and divides the tissue between two double rows.
Stapler sizes: 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm
Either length can fire a 3.8mm or 4.8mm main height cartridge, providing two double rows of titanium handles as well as cutting and dividing the tissue between these rows. Original height 2.5mm, vascular load option, only available in 60mm length.
The tool must be able to easily compress the tissue to the closed height before firing, so for different heights, the maximum thickness of the tissue should be as follows:
- 5mm staples – 1mm closed height/tissue thickness (60mm length only)
- 8 mm staple – 1.5 mm closed height / tissue thickness
- 8 mm staple – 2.0 mm closed height / tissue thickness
Different height staple cartridges are also coded for ease of identification.
- 5 mm – white cartridge (only for use with 60 mm stapler)
- 8 mm – blue cartridge
- 8 mm – green cartridge
