Oxygen Mask with Bag
Specifications |
The surgeon's bag mask is a non-rebreather mask that covers the patient's nose and mouth and is connected around the patient's head using an elastic cord. This product has an attached tank bag, typically one liter, which is connected to an external oxygen tank or bulk oxygen system. Before placing the bagged mask on the patient's face, fill the tank bag to more than two thirds of oxygen at a speed It blows 15 liters per minute (lpm). Approximately ¹/₃ of the air is discharged from the reservoir as the patient's large inhalation. If the bag is completely deflated, the patient no longer has a source of air for breathing. Exhaled air is directed through a one-way valve in the mask, which prevents inhalation of room air and re-inhalation of exhaled air. |
