The role and application of the suction tube

The role and use of the suction tube Suction tube in medicine is a basic and vital device that is used to empty fluids, blood and other substances from inside the patient’s body. This device is used by doctors, nurses and medical staff in different environments such as hospitals and medical centers. What is meant by suction tube? Due to its suction feature, the suction device removes secretions from the patient’s body in different conditions. This suction product is used for things like removing wound washing solution, secretions during surgery, fat, secretions during cosmetic surgery and other cases. Due to having a long tube, this device can remove the contents from the patient’s body. This tube is also known as suction tube or suction tube. What are the uses of the suction tube? In general, the suction tube has many applications in the medical and dental industry. In the medical industry, it is used to remove blood from the target area during surgery and to remove secretions from some parts of the body such as the throat. Neurosurgeons usually use this product to remove secretions during surgery to reduce pressure on the skull. Some patients with respiratory problems are unable to breathe in the best way due to the presence of mucus in the airways. With the device and using these tubes, the mucus is removed. By doing this, the patient is protected from the risk of pneumonia and respiratory tract infections. During surgery and tooth restoration, the patient’s mouth may be filled with blood or even pus. These factors have risks for the patient. In addition, despite these secretions, the dentist is unable to see the desired area. For this reason, by using these tubes, they remove the contamination from the patient’s mouth. Introduction of suction tubes In general, surgical suction tubes are available in the following models: Size 25 Size 30 Size 35 These tubes usually have a length of 250 mm. Depending on the person undergoing surgery or the type of operation, the doctor is able to use any of these sizes. Smaller tubes are usually used for children and thinner people. The medium tube size is the most widely known and used size, while the larger size is used at the discretion of the physician. A larger size removes more fluid from the body. To improve the efficiency and safety of suction tubes, initiatives such as the use of different suction powers, improved designs to reduce the risk of infection, and new technologies are underway.
